News Flash: Top-selling entertainment item in UK in 2010 was a video game

According to numbers supplied to The Telegraph by the Entertainment Retailers' Association, two of the top three titles for 2010 in the UK in terms of volume were video games. 3.27 million copies of Black Ops sold made it the best-selling entertainment item of the year, while FIFA 11 came up in third place with 2.39 million. Between the two was the movie Avatar, which sold 3 million copies. In the top ten, the only music title was Progress by boy band Take That, which sold 1.93 million copies.
